29 Ekim Cumhuriyet Bayramı, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin ilanı anısına her yıl 29 Ekim günü Türkiye ve Kuzey Kıbrıs‘ta^[1] kutlanan ulusal bayramdır.

Cumhuriyet Bayramı’nın kutlandığı ülkelerde 28 Ekim günü öğleden sonra ve 29 Ekim tam gün resmî tatildir. 29 Ekim günü stadyumlarda şenlikler yapılır. 29 Ekim akşamı ise geleneksel olarak fener alayı düzenlenir.

Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kurucusu Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, cumhuriyetin onuncu yıl kutlamalarının yapıldığı 29 Ekim 1933 günü verdiğiOnuncu Yıl Nutku‘nda, o günü “en büyük bayram” olarak nitelendirmiştir
